Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026This is the short version: Bran's Butcher only collects what we need to send you the meat you ordered. We don't sell, rent, or share your details with anyone outside the fulfilment of your order.
What we collect
When you place an order, we ask for:
- Your full name and phone number — so the butcher can reach you to confirm the order.
- Your delivery address and postcode — so we can dispatch via Lalamove.
- Any preferred slot or notes you choose to add.
We don't collect your IP address, browsing history, or anything else server-side — this site is currently a static page with no analytics or tracking cookies.
Where the data goes
- Your order details are sent directly to our WhatsApp when you click "Send Order via WhatsApp". WhatsApp (Meta) operates under its own privacy policy.
- Your cart contents are stored in your browser's local storage so they persist if you reload the page. Clearing your browser data removes them.
- For the delivery estimate, your address + postcode are sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to convert it to map coordinates. We don't send your name, phone, or notes.
- Delivery itself is fulfilled by Lalamove, who will see the pickup and dropoff details required to make the delivery.
How long we keep it
WhatsApp messages remain in our WhatsApp account until manually deleted. Cart data stays in your browser until you clear it.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See what we have on you;
- Correct anything inaccurate;
- Delete your order history from our WhatsApp.

Cookies & tracking
None at the moment. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party scripts beyond the Google Fonts CSS file and the geocoding lookup mentioned above.
